LIFESONG & BEYONDWHAT IS IT?!?!Lifesong is a term-ual outreach event held by UWCCF for the student body. It is an event where the members of the fellowship can share their testimonies, passions, and lives in Christ to the campus at large in the form of skits, musical presentations, testimonies, flash presentations, and whatever their hearts desire. Lifesong is a recognized event where friends, classmates, housemates, and the general public can come to discover who Jesus is.
ONE LIFEThe theme for Lifesong this term is “One Life.” We have one life to live, one life that saves us, and we have only one life with which to respond to the life He offers to us. Jesus says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10).
WANNA SERVE?Do you like to act, sing, play an instrument, dance, perform, share, or design media presentations? If you like to do any of the above (or something else) and you feel God’s call to share your faith then please prayerfully consider how you can help with Lifesong. In particular, we are still looking for people to share their faith stories and to help out with promotion and media (flash presentations).
IMPORTANT!!!*** Please pray for the event (and our desire to share the good news), those who will be involved (like you or other CCF members), and those who will be attending (like your friends and classmates). More importantly, let us consider how we as individuals can be good witnesses and be prepared to share this life that we have with those we care about. ***

Cell/Small groups are important to faciliate spiritual growth as Friday nights are huge and hard to get to know people enough to challenge them at a personal level! If you haven't already joined one, here are some more for your consideration:
mens cell:"Better late than never"...the thought behind Men's Cell for this term because it is late in the term to start. Men's Cell is going to start next week for any and all guys that are interested and can find time in their busy schedules to attend. This term, Men's Cell is going to be a discussion-based cell group focusing on men's issues, men in leadership, and general sharing/"accountability". Topics will include "characteristics of a man of God", "the need for the company of men"/"fighting alongside brothers", "men in leadership", "relationships", "chivalry" and many more (as time will allow). We will be aiming to meet once a week on a day and at a time to be determined (may not even need to be a set time/day if that is what works) depending on the schedules of those who wish to join. If you are interested please contact Jeff Tong by email at 03062k3@gmail.com and/or by phone at 416-508-9950 as soon as possible (preferably but not necessarily by midnight Sunday October 23, 2005).

Operation Christmas Child www.samaritanspurse.ca
Operation Christmas Child is an annual event that unites churches in fulfilling the Great Commission of spreading the Gospel by reaching out to needy children and their families. To this end, last year over 735,000 boxes filled with toys, supplies, and candies were sent from Canada to kids in countries such as the Ivory Coast, Cambodia, and Russia. This year, CCF is aiming to contribute at least 150 boxes to this cause and is asking its members, you, to help.
For more information and ideas, visit the information booth setup outside of CCF during Friday night's program, or contact Steve Wong (sm2wong@engmail.uwaterloo.ca) or Jane Huang ( jane.c.huang@gmail.com).
